I like to think about how people emotionally relate to the notion of a particular place, or a particular set up of interiors and exteriors. The way these conceptual spaces evoke feeling that measures the preconceived purpose/value of that ‘template’ space, plus how these preconceptions relate to what the space is when stripped of them. For example the idea of the home and outside the home, and what both spaces represent emotionally in relation to the other.
